I am working on my Jacobean inspired crewelwork embroidery for the first module of the Royal School of Needlework Certificate in Hand Embroidery. This is on linen twill and worked with Appleton wool.
The lion’s tail will be worked in Turkey rug stitch and his mane in bullion knots.
