From my earliest days I have knitted, sewn and enjoyed very many crafts but seeing this edition of ‘Inspirations’ magazine focused my attention on historic embroidery. I started to read up on 17th century embroideries and, having enrolled on the course, my first month of Cabinet of Curiosities notes had me totally hooked. It is a fascinating subject and I wanted to start a web page to chart my discoveries and progress with my embroidery.
